Lease Expiration

Upon expiration of a one-year lease, you may have the option of either signing another long-term lease or moving to a month-to-month tenancy (usually at a higher monthly rent).  If you wish to terminate your tenancy at the end of a lease (either one-year or month-to-month), you are required to provide 30 days’ notice and move out at the end of the month.

Return of any deposit will depend on the condition of the house at move-out.  Damage beyond normal wear and tear and any cleaning required to bring the house back to move-in condition will be deducted from the deposit. (Go here for more information about return of security deposit.)
